Basic Locomotor Movements
The basic locomotor movements for a Drums Alive® workout are the same as performed in a dance or group exercise class. Movements could include:
Marches or Walks, Hops or Jumps
Tap, Step Tap or Step Touch
Lunges in all directions
Chugs
Jumping Jacks
Grapevine, Grapevine Turns, Double Grapevine
Step hop
Slide (Chassé)
Pony
Two-Step, Polka
Mambo
Cha Cha Cha
V- Step
