Chapter Seven – Practical Assignments

Create a Drums Alive® Golden Beats eight week program that is widely diversified and follows the guidelines for an optimal training for older adults according to Weineck using the choreography and exercises from the Golden Beats Workbook as well as your own exercises that will provide the following:

  • High proportion of endurance training (cardiovascular endurance)
  • High proportion of weight training (for our purposes we will focus on strength endurance exercises)
  • Mobility exercises
  • Coordination and proprioceptive exercises
