DRUMMING SIT UPS – SITTING ON THE BALL-FOR ADVANCED Clients ONLY

Place a mat under the ball. (not shown in photo for instructional purposes)

Begin by sitting on the ball. Drumsticks are held in the R and L hand. Begin by carefully rolling on the ball towards your back. (Safety Tip – keep the hands on the R and L side of the ball to roll down. The closer you are to your shoulders the easier the sit ups become. The closer you are to the small of your back, the more difficult the sit ups are. ) Begin clicking drumsticks together over head and carefully roll up for 4 counts, then roll down for 4 counts.  Make sure participants practice the rolling up and down with their hands on the ball before beginning the overhead clicks!
