Forward facing position. Focus is towards the front and slightly down. Step forward lunge making sure that the knee is in alignment with the foot. Do not allow the knee to be in front of the toes. Open Split Ball drumming; Single or Double Beats (8 cts.)
Squat down low and perform “Floor Beats” (Single or Doubles). Maintain proper posture and alignment. Focus is towards the front. (8 cts.)Safety Tip: If participants have knee and or ankle issues do not utilize this skill.
Tip: When lunging forward please make sure that the knees are in alignment. Check your participants and teach them to pay special attention to this. Powerhouse is always active in these drills.
